Got Domain Names????

Where can I find a website where I can purchase original DOMAIN NAMES for $1.00-to-$2.00 max?? No servicing. No web hosting. Nothing but buying the DOMAIN NAMES and hanging onto them? Most of the sites I%26#039;ve found, the cheapest like GoDaddy want $7.00...that%26#039;s too much. Any help will be appreciated.

The best place would be a domain auction. Most of your reputable domain reseller companies charge a few extra, with godaddy being the cheapest I have seen so far.

Here is a link I found while searching awhile back that may help you with what you need.

Remember though, any premium name, easy to remember name and so on, you are not going to find for $1. Chances are extremly high that a domain for a dollar or two, will not be a domain that many, if any, people will want.

If you want names for that price, go to ebay and type in %26quot;domain names%26quot;. You can pickup many names for under $2. The name will be transferred to your account for free HOWEVER....you will have the pay to re-register it with the registrar (i.e. GoDaddy, NetworkSolutions, etc) once it expires. There%26#039;s no way to get around that.

Do a whois search on the domain name and find out when it expires before purchasing any ebay names. You can do this search on GoDaddy. Enter the domain name on GoDaddy%26#039;s home page, then on the next page (where it says the name is taken), click the %26quot;Click here for more info%26quot; link. From there, you can find out when it expires.
