Help with making a website or webpage!!!?
The best hosting and registration - web hero.

The best web design software - Dreamweaver.

You can find cheaper hosting and cheaper software out there, but you get what you pay for.
Help with making a website or webpage!!!?
easiest is program is micosoft frontpage. you can host the site yourself for free. and goto www.dyndns.org to get the name resolved
Reply:You can try web.com... its pretty easy to use and dont cost that much...if you are designing your own website...Dreamweaver would be a good program to use. hope this helps.
Reply:Doteasy has cheap hosting, $25 for a domain name and the hosting is free. The best web designing software, in my opinion, is Macromedia Dreamweaver. You should probably learn HTML, though. Generally if you own a domain, you%26#039;re expected to know how to code on your own. In terms of graphics, Adobe Photoshop is the best, but Jasc Paint Shop Pro is cheaper and somewhat easier to use.
Reply:It%26#039;s an open ended question.

In my opinion, If you are desigining a business site you don%26#039;t want to go for a free host.

I have used, with no problem GoDaddy for my hosting and my registrar.

Designing software is even more open ended. More so since we don%26#039;t know what you want to do with your website.

Personally, I prefer using C# in my ASP.NET websites and I use the Visual Studio Express program (which is free) to do the design work.

For my database I use MYSQL (again also free - keep in mind though data means space which is what drives costs for a website, so the server may not cost but some hosts will charge for setting it up and for use over so much size of data.)

I create my graphics with Adobe Photoshop CS (this is not cheap) If you want FREE - download GIMP

Others may offer different opinions on what%26#039;s good/bad. It%26#039;s a personal taste and usually based on that individual%26#039;s experience.

If you choose to look into the options I%26#039;ve suggested and have any questions, or if you%26#039;re undecided and want to ask more questions about my suggestions feel free to email me directly at : irishtek@yahoo.com
Reply:i used for free %26quot;yahoo site builder%26quot;

Reply:Joe,

A year ago, I wanted to start a fitness / running website and I was looking for a cheap host %26amp; web-designer. I was talked into SBI...they were more expensive, but they had EVERYTHING for a web business. My intention was not to have a business, because I don%26#039;t have anything to sell. But in the last year, this venture has been really profitable and I%26#039;m thinking about starting a 2nd site through the same company (SBI). I%26#039;m not sure what your plans or aspirations are, but if you want a site that could grow into a business, check out the link below. Good luck!

Reply:The best web host is:

The best web design software is Dreamweaver, however dreamweaver is hard for beginners to learn and it is expensive. It%26#039;s a good idea to learn html .

I still use Ace html Freeware. Coffee Cup is also a decent one to start out on.

There are also a lot of WYSIWYG editors, basically drag and drop things where you want them on a page. I don%26#039;t like these kind of editors because your limited in what you can do, I prefer to work with the html code myself but they are good for beginners.

Good Luck!
